Wine Clubs in Sonoma County

There are two types of wine clubs in California' Sonoma Valley. The first is operated by wine shops: every month the members receive several bottles of wine selected by the shop owners; members also are entitled to a discount on wine purchases in the shop. The second type tends to be operated by the many vineyards in Sonoma; members of these clubs are invited to special events, can purchase rare vintages, and have access to some of the vineyard's wines before they are offered to the general public.

Kunde Family Estate Wine Club
Every month club members receive two bottles of Kunde Family Estate wines. Members are invited to special events such private dinners with wine pairings. Club members may bring five friends for a special wine tasting at the vineyard. In addition to these benefits, when club members shop at the vineyard or online, they receive discounts on every purchase of Kunde Family Estate wines and merchandise.

Kendall-Jackson Wine Clubs
The Kendall-Jackson vineyard sponsors two wine clubs. Every other month the Kendall-Jackson Estates Wine Club sends members selections from its limited production wines from the Highland Estates and Stature collections. The Kendall-Jackson Wine Club sends its members monthly shipments of wines selected from the vineyard's own Vintner's Reserve and Grand Reserve wines. Members from both clubs are invited to special dinners such as the vineyard's annual Crab and Chardonnay Fete, as well as educational seminars on winemaking and how to pair food with wine.

J Vineyards & Winery Wine Club
Club J at the J Vineyards & Winery offers four tiers of membership. Five times a year, members of J Signature, J Experience and J Elegance receive shipments of specially selected J Vineyards wines. Members at the J Signature tier receive two to four bottles; J Experience members receive five to eight bottles, while J Elegance members receive nine to 12 bottles. J Luxe is the most exclusive tier of membership, limited to 50 individuals. Members at all tier levels have access to the Club J Lounges where they can sample the vineyard's wines. J Vineyard also hosts exclusive special events for all its wine club members, such as the vineyard's harvest dinner.
