Overview
It has become a wedding tradition to send guests home with a favor in celebration of their attendance and the betrothed's recent nuptials. For a beach wedding, your favors can be a bit more creative. While you don't need to purchase expensive wedding favors, a little something for the guests to take home as a tangible memory of your big day will be greatly appreciated.
-
Message in a Bottle
Send your guests home with a bit of sand from where you said "I do." Purchase clear bottles that are between 2 oz. and 4 oz. Prior to your ceremony, print out your wedding date and names on small slips of paper. Place the tiny message into the bottles and fill them with sand from the beach. Cork the bottles and affix a small ribbon in your wedding colors around the top. Set your personal, "Message in a Bottle" out on a table or in a basket for guests to pick up as they leave the ceremony.
-
Fan of Yours
Beach-side wedding ceremonies can get extremely warm. Ensure that your guests stay relatively cool by placing a leaf-shaped fan at each chair. You can purchase leaf-shaped fans in a variety of colors, allowing you to match your wedding party. As you say "I do" your guests will be able to bask in your happiness, not the sweltering heat. This also makes a cute keepsake to take home as a wedding favor.

Flower Lei
Give your guests a bit of flowery bling to wear at your ceremony. Have an usher or personal attendant greet guests with a beautiful flower lei to wear at your beach ceremony. Guests will enjoy the amazing scent of the flower lei, and it will be a great accent to a beach-inspired outfit. Having flower leis adorn your guests in your wedding colors and flower selections allows them to become an interactive piece to your wedding decorations. Additionally, guests will enjoy the lingering scent of their flower lei, reminding them of your beach wedding, as well as serving as a unique wedding favor.
