Ways to Look 10 Years Younger

Overview
People have spent billions of dollars trying to look younger. They have paid for cosmetic surgery, Botox, along with countless "miracle" creams, scrubs and other treatments. Nothing can reverse aging, but some simple tips can help men and women look and feel at least a decade younger.
-
Stay in Shape
Much of the anti-aging focus has centered on skin, but people often overlook another significant issue: weight gain. As you age, you lose muscle mass and metabolism slows; both factors can promote a middle-aged paunch. Weight training keeps your body trim and tight, and it increases your body's ability to burn calories. Also, regular cardiovascular activity (jogging, swimming, bicycling) has plenty of health benefits, including staving off extra pounds.
-
Take the Gray Away
While it is possible to look youthful even with a head of gray hair, going gray usually adds years to your appearance. It may seem vain to maintain your hair color longer than nature intended you to have it, but a well-done dye job at a salon can make it look as if you have never had a gray hair. If you do not wish to dye your hair, consider a stylish, modern cut.
-
Facial Hair
Men look older when they have beards, so trimming a full beard to a goatee or shaving it completely will make you look younger (especially if that beard has flecks of gray.) Women also have facial hair, especially above the upper lip, and many choose to remove it with hot wax.
-
Hair Loss
Nothing gives away aging like a receding hairline. Many men fight this not by covering up their hair loss, but by choosing to lose all their hair completely: They shave down to the scalp. Other men (as well as women) use hair replacement therapy such as minoxidil (Rogaine), a topical medication applied to the scalp. Men and women also use hair weaves, hairpieces or a new hairstyle to disguise hair loss.
-
Stay Moisturized and Build Collagen
Aged skin looks old, and dried-out skin looks even older. Keeping your skin in top shape requires moisturization, and applying lotion will help. The health magazine Prevention also recommends fighting wrinkles by using products that contain retinol and peptides, which replaces collagen lost through sun damage.

Dress Well
Choice of clothes also can age people. Many people are conscious of fashion when they are young, but lose their interest in it as other things such as family, work and other responsibilities become more pressing. Dressing younger depends on your body type and what you wish to look like.
