  • Earth House Cafe

    Housed in the basement of a bustling artists' collective, the Earth House Cafe features a full coffee bar that serves fair trade coffee, teas and other beverages. The cafe offers a range of organic foods on Fridays and on other days when events are held at the collective.     Ethiopian food lovers will want to sample the vegetarian fare at Abyssinian Restaurant. The family run eatery offers a spectrum of vegan food, including lentil samosas and a colorful, vegetarian combination platter featuring yemisir wett (red lentils), yellow peas, spinach, tikel gemen (cabbage and potatoes) and collards.   • Broad Ripple Brewpub

    The oldest microbrewery in Indiana, the Broad Ripple Brewpub offers a range of vegan and vegetarian dining options. Menu items are clearly indicated with a large "V" icon, making them easy to spot. Appetizers include hand-cut veggie chips, soups, salads and a ploughman's plate. Entrees include Vegan Shepherd's Pie, pizzas, pastas, Baked Falafel, Garden Tacos, Vegan Dolmades and a Garden Sloppy Joe, as well as a variety of daily specials.
