Hair loss is something that millions of people are struggling to deal with at some time. The problem is that we have an image of ourselves that include our hair and our hair style. Steroid Injections

There are health conditions in which the hair will begin to fall out, and these often need to be treated to promote new growth and even maintain the current growth. In conditions such as alopecia areata, the hair loss can be treated with the injection of steroids. This is a condition that the doctor will need to diagnose. Some conditions have no cure and will not respond to steroids; it's important to talk to your doctor about whether this treatment is an option for you.
Minoxidil

Minoxidil is a hair-loss treatment that is offered in both prescription and over-the-counter forms. This is a medication that is applied directly to the scalp and works to promote new hair growth. Generally, this is a medication that works best at the top and back of the scalp, and the best results are found when there is still some hair in the area that is being treated. Minoxidil is sold under the brand name, Rogaine, and is available for both men and women.

Hair transplants are often considered by people who have tried everything else and are still experiencing hair loss. A hair transplant involves removing the hair from one area of the scalp or body and transplanting it into the area of hair loss.
