The warm Tuscan sun, vineyards heavy with grapes, olive trees in full bloom with dainty white flowers and the aquamarine Tuscan sea with its inlets and both white and black sand beaches--these are a few of the things that beckon travelers to the region of Tuscany in Northern Italy.
  • Arezzo Province

The Valdichiana, one of the largest valleys of the Apennine Mountains, is steeped in ancient history of civilizations long past, including the Etruscans, circa 800 B.C.

  • Costa degli Etruschi

This coastal haven features resorts, harbors and pristine beaches like San Vincenzo. There are also marine waters rich with sea life along rocky shorelines, such as Rogiolo at Livorno, where diving is popular.
  • Pisa

The River Arno divides the ancient Tuscan city of Pisa, home of the Leaning Tower, into two districts--Tramontana and Mezzogiorno. Take a boat tour to see sites along the riverfront or a bus tour through the historic center.
  • Beaches

Chiarone features clear water and a black sand beach with dunes, while Duna di Feniglia has white sand beaches set against a pine forest backdrop.
  • Tuscany's Countryside

Ride horseback through Tuscany's countryside, which is dotted with medieval villages, historic farmhouses, cypress and olive groves, and bountiful vineyards.
