  • Tower Bridge

    This is among the most famous bridges and greatest engineering wonders in the world. After a design was selected from more than 50 submissions, it took eight years to build and was completed in 1894. You can explore its interior, which includes the Victorian Engine Rooms. There is a photographic exhibition called the "Great Bridges of the World" housed in the Tower Bridge's panoramic West Walkway. Plus, be sure to see one of several daily bridge lifts conducted for maintenance or approaching vessels.   • Tower of London

    This historic fortress offers loads of sightseeing opportunities. It was founded in the 1060s by William the Conqueror and has housed and imprisoned many famous figures from British royalty to a leader of the German Nazi party. Not only can you explore the original White Tower, outside which Anne Boleyn was beheaded, but you can also be dazzled by the Crown Jewels.   • St. Paul's Cathedral

    This beautiful cathedral with its towering dome is among the most famous buildings in London. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren, it is a masterpiece in architecture. The interior will also take your breath away. During a tour, you can enjoy the magnificent mosaics, explore the crypt, try out the Whispering Gallery and climb the 530 steps to the Golden Gallery for breathtaking views of the city.   • Kensington Palace

    For more than 300 years, this palace has served as a home to members of the British royal family, including Princess Diana. See the sumptuous furnishings in Queen Victoria's bedroom and climb the King's Staircase, which is replete with portraits and sculptures. The gardens are also delightful, and you can indulge in an authentic afternoon tea served at the Orangery, which was originally built for Queen Anne in 1705.   • British Museum

    Founded in 1753, this is one of the greatest museums in the world. You can see more than two million years of inspiring history here. Among its famous objects are sculptures from the Parthenon, the Rosetta Stone, Samurai armor and the Mummy of Katebet. A new Chinese ceramics gallery recently opened.
