  • The Kentucky Community and Technical College System offers 16 colleges spread across 67 campuses throughout the state. KCTCS provides affordable continuing education through all their Kentucky colleges and have been dedicated to catering to the needs of Kentucky students and employers since 1998. KCTCS has become the largest provider of post-secondary education and workforce training in the commonwealth offering associate's degrees in over 600 credit programs. Each of these institutions educates a diverse group of students. The faculty and administration motivates them to get involved in their education and prepares them to succeed in their career.

  • Jefferson Community and Technical College

    With over 20 student organizations, including the African American Student Union, Art Club, Drama Club, English Club and the Parent Support Group, this Louisville college ensures that their students have support groups available throughout their college career. JCTC is the second largest in the region, spanning six campuses and offering over 70 programs, degrees and diplomas, along with certificate options. Campus locations include the Main and Technical College in downtown Louisville, Southwest Campus in Fairdale, Carrollton Campus in Carrollton, Shelby County Campus in Shelbyville and Bullitt County Campus in Shephedsville. Academic programs include automotive technology, visual communications, communication arts technology and associate degrees in arts and sciences. The college works with employers as part of their Workforce Solutions program to develop a customized education and professional programs for company employees.   • Bluegrass Community and Technical College

    Bluegrass Community and Technical College offers day, evening and weekend classes at six campuses.Locations include the Cooper, Leestown and Regency campuses in the Lexington area, as well as Danville Campus in Danville, Lawrenceburg Campus in Lawrenceburg and thwe Winchester-Clark County Campus in Winchester. Students can earn an associate's degree, a diploma or a certificate in programs like architectural technology, collision repair technician, computer-aided drafting, machine tool technology and fire/rescue science technology. Qualified applicants possess a high school diploma or GED and can apply for financial aid or scholarships to help defray college expenses. Students can join a support group or club such as Student Government, Performing Arts, College Newspaper, Literary Journal or the Computer Technology Club.     Students will find programs at WKCTC like air conditioning technology, computer-aided drafting, construction technology and electrical technology, along with associate's degrees in arts and sciences. Clubs like College Democrats, College Republicans, Community Chorus, Science Clubs and the Writer's Club are designed to enrich students as they progress through their college career.
