This will reduce the chances of him doing it again and allow you to have a home that is clean and smell-free.

  • Step 1

Mix a lemon-based acrylic-safe floor cleaner with warm water and use a rag to wipe at the surface of the urine. Usually, even if it is dried, the urine will come up using this method.
  • Step 2

Scrub the urine-spotted area with a soft scrub brush. If the scrub brush is one designed to scrub carpets or other cloth surfaces, it should be non-abrasive enough to use on your vinyl floor.
  • Step 3

Soak a rag in white vinegar and lay it over the surface for about five minutes, then wipe at the urine stain with a wet rag, and it should come up right away. The vinegar will also help to kill the urine smell and won't damage the flooring either.
