How to Remove a Loadit From Media Player
by Nina Rotz
Windows Media Player is a pre-installed music player on all Windows computers. The newer versions of Windows Media Player contain a Loadit by Sanity music store. This application launches at the same time as Windows Media Player. It loads in a pop-up window, and this pop up re-appears as you continue using the music player. Loadit attempts to get users to buy music tracks. The nuisance of Loadit is removable from Media Player.
Open up Windows Media Player. Click on "Start," "All Programs" and select the "Windows Media Player" icon.
Click on the drop-down arrow located next to the "Loadit" icon. A drop-down menu will appear, showing alternatives to Loadit. The Loadit icon has a white background, with black "Loadit" text on it. The letter "I" is in red color.
Remove the check mark next to "Loadit" in the drop-down menu.
Select "Media Guide" from the drop-down list. Media Guide has no pop ups and will remove Loadit from launching at the same time as Windows Media Player.
Close Windows Media Player or continue to use it. Click on "File" and select "Exit" if you wish to close the program.
