Overview
Hanukkah is over and you need to clean your menorah. You could use soap and water as your cleanser of choice, however, it can take a very long time to completely get rid of candle wax by using this method. If you have an oven, you can quickly and easily clean your menorah in no time. By following some simple instructions, you will have a shiny menorah ready to use next year.

Step 1

Step 2
Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
-
Step 3
Lay the menorah on its side, and place it on the cookie sheet.
-
Step 4
Put the cookie sheet in the oven for 3 to 5 minutes.
-
Step 5
Remove the menorah from the oven when all of the wax has melted.
-
Step 6
Wear an oven mitt, and hold the menorah upright to scrape out any remaining wax from the candle holders using toothpicks.
-
Step 7
Put the menorah back in the oven for 1 to 2 minutes if you need to soften the wax again. Softened wax is easier to remove from the menorah than cooled wax.
