There's no need to dig through the local paper to find out what movies are playing in your area. Online movie listing hosts can tell you everything you need to know in the click of a mouse. Search for movies, showtimes and reviews at these one-stop sites.

Step 1

Go to Fandango.com. Search by zip code or city to see what your local theater is playing, or select the movie you want to see to find out where it's playing. Once you select a movie, find out more about the showtimes, movie details and reviews and browse through photos. Fandango offers HD trailers, online ticketing and mobile compatibility and suggests related movies. If you're looking for extensive critic reviews, go elsewhere; Fandango is limited in this area.

Search by movie, actor or theater name at moviefone.com. You can also call a local phone number to access the Moviefone service. Moviefone gives you ability to create your own real-time news feed, offers the "movie minute" section and provides helpful links to other sites.

Tune in to TVGuide.com. It is primarily a source for TV listings, but it also provides basic in-theater information. The site will tell you when a movie is showing on TV.
