How to Make Your Own Protein Drink

There is a marked increase in health awareness among Americans since the 1980s, and a big part of that awareness relates to diet. Getting the proper amount of lean protein in your diet every day is essential to building and maintaining muscle. Buying ready-made protein supplement drinks can be very expensive. This homemade protein drink recipe tastes like delicious banana bread and contains about 40 grams of protein.

Step 1
Boil the water and add the quick oatmeal to it. Cook for one minute, remove from heat and allow it to cool.

Pour the water and oatmeal into the blender.

Add the banana, bran flakes and whey protein and blend well.

Step 4
Add 1 teaspoon brown sugar, blend again and sample. Add more sweetener as needed to suit your taste, and enjoy!
