Overview
Planning a birthday party can be a long and tiring process. If you have a large number of guests, looking for the perfect invitation format and completing all the invitations before sending them can be a lot to do for one person. One way to save yourself some time is to create a birthday invitation template that you can reuse for different occasions.
-
-
Step 1
Open a new document in your word processor and save it under the name "Birthday Invitation Template" in a directory that can easily be located in the future.
-
Step 2
Insert a graphic into the document and place it at the center of the top of the page. You can search for the picture in the Clip Art gallery of your word processor. Alternatively, you can find graphics online to copy and paste into the document.
-
Step 3
Type below the graphics "You are invited to a birthday party" or a similar phrase.
-
Step 4
Press "Enter" several times to leave some blank space.
-
Step 5
Type "For" and leave space in which you can later write the name of the birthday person.
-
Step 6
Start a new line and type "When" followed by a space, creating a section in which to write the date of the party.
-
Step 7
Type "Where" and leave several blank lines to indicate the location of the party.
-
Step 8
Make a final section by typing "RSVP" and leave enough space to write in an RSVP deadline and any necessary contact details.
-
Step 9
Click "Save" before closing the document.
-
Step 10
Print the template and hand write or type in the details to let guests know of a birthday party.
