Step 2
Take a class at a local college. Many continuing education programs at colleges and universities offer classes that focus on specific software programs like QuickBooks. They usually offer convenient class schedules and less expensive tuition than classes for credit, and you can complete the class in just a few weeks.

Step 3
Buy one of the books that teach the use of QuickBooks 2007. Go to a local bookstore and browse the computer software section. There you will find guides to using QuickBooks that are produced by experts in the field. Look for a book that includes a CD that will give you some hands-on and interactive instruction.

Step 4
Buy a self-paced course and learn QuickBooks that way. These courses usually contain a number of DVDs or CDs and lots of printed material, along with a plan and assignments for completing the course. These are generally expensive, costing in the hundreds of dollars, but they are also very thorough and in depth.
