3CCI (Canine Companions for Independence) is a volunteer program that raises service dogs for disabled people. This organization breeds, trains and assigns Labrador and Golden Retrievers to applicants in need. They can always use help with their mission of love.The official logo of CCI

Every dollar helps.Call your region's volunteer coordinator to find out what options are available to you. They may ask you to come in and clean, wash puppies or perform other tasks with which they need assistance.Spread the word. Even if you don't have time to help out or money to donate, contacting friends and family who might have an interest is a great way to promote CCI.Volunteer to raise a puppy. This is extremely time consuming and expensive (because you provide food and, in some cases, vet care) but is a true labor of love. For the many puppy-raisers who have contributed to the program, it is as beneficial to them and their families as it is to CCI.
