How to Install an Internet Authentication Service

  • Overview

Internet Authentication Service (IAS) is a Microsoft application that was created to take over the old proxy server application. The service was first introduced for Windows 2003 servers. The application provides proxy services to centralize online traffic from a corporate network to the Internet. It allows administrators the ability to centralize, control and limit Internet access of employee machines. It also helps them monitor Internet usage. The service only takes a few steps to install.
