How to Install the Fox Movie Player

Overview

The Fox Movie Player allows you to watch several different Fox episodes, movies and other media right on the Fox website. The player is easy to download, it is available directly from the Fox Website, and it can be installed in just few minutes. Follow the instructions below to set up your Fox Movie Player.

Step 1

Go to http://www.fox.com/fod/ and click on any one of the links under "Full Length Episodes." It does not matter which you choose. This will direct you to the movie player page.
Step 2

Click on the blue bar that says "Install Our New Player." This will open up a new window,

Click on the red box that says "Download."
Step 4

A security warning will ask you what you would like to do; select "Run." It will likely do this a second time, at which point you should also select "Run."
Step 5

After some installation time, you may be prompted one more time (depending on Active X) with a security warning. Click on "Run" one final time.
Step 6

At this point, the page will read, "Install Complete," and a short clip will run to ensure that both audio and video are working correctly. If they are not, repeat steps 1 through 5.
