    The Houston Circuit Court is a branch of the Southern District of Texas court system, a part of the 5th Circuit of U.S. District Courts. Aside from trials, the court offers alternative dispute resolution services for civil cases.
  • Location/Hours

    The Houston division of the Southern District of Texas court system is located at 515 Brisk St. in downtown Houston. The court is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
 
  • Counties

    The Houston division is responsible for cases in Austin, Brazos, Colorado, Fayette, Fort Bend, Grimes, Harris, Madison, Montgomery, San Jacinto, Walker, Waller and Wharton counties.
  • District Court

    The district court division in Houston is responsible for criminal and civil cases under federal jurisdiction.
  • Bankruptcy Court

    All bankruptcy proceedings for citizens of the district will take place at the Houston division, including any hearings or meeting of creditors.
  • Other Services
