With the rise of "staycations," increasingly more people are looking for ways to have fun close to home. With a little prep, you can bring your date experience to your own door and have just as much fun.
Picnic

There is no rule that says you have wander far to pack a proper picnic basket. For best effect, pack your meal, utensils, plates, wine, corkscrew and glasses and treats ahead of time, grab a blanket and head into the backyard.

Make a Meal Together

There is a certain sensuality to the art of cooking, and making a meal together, instead of one person doing it for the other, can be a real bonding experience. Share duties, blend ingredients, light a candle and see where the night goes.
Game Night

For the more competitive couple, settling in for a game night can provide hours of fun. Select a few games that you both enjoy, or introduce one you think your date might enjoy.
Movie Night

With today's plethora of movie channels, you do not even need to leave your house to find a new thriller or a classic film. Pop some popcorn and snuggle up for the night.
Crafting

Sharing a craft you like or trying a new one out together can provide fun and memories. Even if it does not work out well, you can still say, "Remember when...?"
