Vitamin A helps the body to reproduce, maintain good eyesight, make breastmilk, fight illness and minimize the signs of aging. Vitamin A is in many foods, but a few have a particularly high amount. In general, the richer and deeper the color of the vegetable or fruit, the higher its levels of vitamin A. Vitamin A is listed on food and supplement labels in International Units (IU). Following are some of the foods with the most vitamin A for each 200-calorie serving.
