How to Fix Leaky Shower Fixtures

    A leaky shower fixture can be annoying and can waste water. You can easily fix them in a matter of minutes and experience a leak-free shower fixture in no time. Following these steps will ensure a successful repair.
 
  • Step 1

    Turn off the water supply to the shower.

    Unscrew the shower fixture from the pipe where it is leaking.
  • Step 3

    Wrap pipe thread tape around the threads of the pipe two to three times going around making sure all the threads are covered.
  • Step 4

    Tighten back on your shower fixture to the pipe.
  • Step 5

    Turn on the water and test for leaks. Your shower fixture is now ready for use.
