How to Get the Dogpile Tool Bar

Overview

Dogpile.com is a popular search engine that aggregates search results from various search engines like Google, AOL and Yahoo. Usually, to complete a Dogpile.com search, you have to go to the Dogpile homepage. Now users have the option of downloading the Dogpile toolbar to eliminate this step when they want to search for something through Dogpile.

Step 1

Open your Web browser and go to www.dogpile.com.
Step 2

Click "Download Toolbar," which is located in the "Quick Starts" list on the homepage.
Step 3

Click the "Run" button on the download prompt that will automatically pop up.
Step 4

Click "Next" on the first page of the Dogpile Toolbar Set-Up Wizard.
Step 5

Click "I agree" on the page that shows the license agreement.
Step 6

Choose the folder where you want the Dogpile toolbar to be installed in.
Step 7

Choose the features you want to install on your Dogpile toolbar by checking or clearing the boxes to the left of the features.
Step 8

Select any advanced features you would like to install, and then click "Install."
Step 9

Click "Finish" after the toolbar finishes downloading. The toolbar will appear toward the top of your browser.
