How to Display Gazing Balls

Overview
You can't see the future in a gazing ball, but can look right into an alluring reflection of surroundings on the surface of it. These mysterious treasures are made to look exotic as each ball showcases original detail. Enchantment surrounds these balls, especially when they're situated in the right areas. It is only fair to find a suitable display for these decorative orbs.

Step 1
Study the properties of your gazing ball. Consider the size and weight of it, as each detail on your ball is an important quality that should not to be overlooked. Notice what your ball is made of, translucent crystal, opaque earth minerals or stainless steel with mirror attributes.
-
Step 2
Keep your gazing ball indoors if it is too valuable to display outside. The most suitable place should be on a steel chateau tabletop stand, neatly on top of a living room table. Or you could put it on a small treble clef stand on a different table in a sitting room. It will be a conversation piece and admired by the guests to your home.
-
Step 3
Place your gazing ball in a locked glass cabinet or shelf for safer keeping. Situate it on a low, thin iron stand. Make the rest of the inside area uncluttered to keep your gazing ball noticeable. You can add some pebbles or shiny pieces around it for visual contrast.
-
Step 4
Move your gazing ball outside to adorn your landscape or garden, if it can withstand the forces of nature. Balls with reflective properties will look startlingly beautiful next to bright flower beds or lush vegetation. You will want to use a stable, yet stylish support outside, like a Tuscan column for a classic garden look.
-
Step 5
Situate your ball next to water if you have the option, next to a house pond or swimming pool. Balls with psychedelic colors or ever-changing surfaces look excellent next to water. Try a modern design for a display, like a large petunia bud gazing ball stand or a wavy concerto table stand.
-
Step 6
Use found items as a creative recycled display stand if you don't want to buy one. Look through old pottery or scrap material and test to see if your gazing ball fits. Wash the items before using them. You can paint the stand or glue add-ons if you want, and then place it inside or outside.
