Overview
Detox foot pads were developed in Japan to draw toxins from your body through the different meridians on your feet as outlined in the field of reflexology. Manufacturers say the process can improve circulation, relieve anxiety and depression, improve concentration and boost the immune system. For best results, manufacturers recommend using the detox pads for 30 days on both feet. No scientific evidence suggests that the foot pads work as claimed.

Step 1
Wash your feet in warm water with a mild soap to remove dirt and any traces of skin moisturizer. Using warm to hot water also will open your pores and help the detox pads work.

Gently pat the feet dry with a soft towel.

Apply the pads on both feet just before bedtime so that they can do their job while you are sleeping.

Step 4
Remove the pads when you wake in the morning. You may notice discoloration that is said to come from the release of toxins.

Wash and dry your feet and apply your usual moisturizing lotion.

Use the pads for 30 days as recommended or until you no longer see staining on them when you remove them.
