Overview
All browsers keep a detailed history of the websites you visit. That history can spread several months. You may want to erase the history to avoid having personal information be revealed to others. Or perhaps you do not want your spouse to learn about a present you purchased. Whether you are using Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera, you can erase the history in a few clicks. Most browsers also have a private mode that can be turned on or off. While in that mode, no history is recorded.
