How to Cure Kidney Stones with Jade

Overview
Jade usually refers to two types of stones, nephrite and jadeite, that differ in their crystalline structure and chemical composition. Both are made up of calcium, magnesium and iron silicate. Jade has been used as a healing stone for centuries, the earliest reference dating back to 4,000 BC in China. Jade aids in curing kidney stones by acting as a powerful toxin expellant. It promotes healthy blood flow and encourages the elimination of waste products. Constant proximity to the stone is the central way to benefit from its healing energy.

Step 1
Use jade stones to massage your body. Deep tissue work with jade can release the stone's oil onto the skin and make the body more receptive to its healing energy. Increased blood flow and relaxed muscles also improve the stone's strength. To treat kidney stones, focus on the temples, pelvis, lower back, the bottom of the feet, and the heart center.

Step 2
Wear jade. Keep jade close to your body as often as you can by wearing jade pendants, earrings and bracelets. Look for the darkest varieties.
-
Step 3
Meditate with jade stones. Sit in a comfortable position, keeping your spine straight. Hold one or several jade stones in your hands and focus on the feeling of the stone against your skin. Notice its weight and texture. Visualize the color of the stone. Most importantly, imagine the energy from the stone filling your lower back, kidneys and genitals.

Step 4
Place jade stones close to your bed. Sleep is a crucial time of rejuvenation for the body. Keep jade stones around your bed and on your body as you sleep to encourage the expulsion of kidney stones. The Telstar Innovations company manufactures an electric mattress pad made with two layers of powdered and solid jade, which it claims aids in restful sleep.

Step 5
Visit a stone healer. Many alternative medicine practitioners work with stones. Advice from an experienced healer can help focus your work with stones as well as increase their effectiveness.
