How to Create Signs & Banners

Overview
When big events are planned, the advertising also calls for something big; this can include a TV or radio commercial, fliers or a large sign or banner. Creating a sign and banner is fairly straightforward and relatively simple.
-
-
Step 1
Label the event's name or type on the sign or banner. Grab some markers and durable paper, at least 1/4-inch thick. Some people use letter tracings to help make the letters even and on the same scale.
-
Step 2
Add color inside the letters and surrounding the letters with markers. Nobody wants to see a dull black and white sign. Remember that quality counts, so make sure the coloring is defined and well done. Add colors that are bright and will catch somebody's attention.
-
Step 3
Add additional graphics or information. You can add graphics to the sign for people to instantly recognize it. Say, for example, you are creating a basketball camp and you want to advertise. Wouldn't it be a good idea to add a basketball to your sign or banner? Add the graphic and any other useful information such as the date and time, as well as contact information.
