How to Create a Free Printable Budget Calendar

    A budget calendar is nothing more than a timeline to help a business person to plan for upcoming expenditures for the year. By using a budget calendar, you can focus on keeping your department within the confines of its allowable budget. If you need a way to cut supply costs, a budget calendar can easily be created using a word-processing program.
 
  • Step 1

    Turn on the computer and load Microsoft Word. Go to "File" and choose "New" to pull up a blank page.

    Go to the "Table" menu and choose "Insert Table."

    At the "Insert Table" dialog box, type in "2" for the columns and type in "13" for the rows.

    Highlight the first row with the mouse. Right-click the mouse button and choose "Merge Cells." You can type the title of your budget calendar in the center of this first merged row.

    In the first column, type the months of the year in each of the following rows.

    In the second column, type your corresponding budget information for each month.

    Go to "File" and choose "Print."

  • Select the entire table using the mouse and choose "Format" menu. Select the "Borders and Shading" tab. Choose the "Borders" tab and choose "None" on the left side of dialog box. Click "OK." This option removes the line border from the table. To set up your desired row heights, select the "Table" menu. Select all rows and choose "Table Properties." Next, choose the "Row" tab and type a number to set up your desired row heights.
