How to Convert Data From Quickbooks to Peachtree

    Both Peachtree and Quickbooks are popular financial software applications which help users to automate bookkeeping functions allowing for more accurate reporting to both internal and external clients. Each one offers advantages of the other in terms of functionality. If you have decided to change from Quickbooks to Peachtree the first thing you will need to do is convert your data. Here's how to do it.
 
  • Step 1

    Use the conversion utility which is designed to make it easier to convert. The wizard helps to walk through and explain all of your options. Peachtree will automatically create account numbers for all Quickbooks account that do not have account IDs. Most conversions last around one hour.
  • Step 2

    Go to the computer in which Quickbooks is installed. The utility will need to be able to use both systems at the same time.

    Install Peachtree. If it is your first time using the software, Peachtree will automatically ask you if you wish to convert files from another file format or application. Select Quickbooks and the wizard will guide you through the process.
