How to Clear a Browser Search History

by Melody Fuller
  • Overview

Internet history is compiled to allow a computer user to find where he or she has been on the Web if there's a need to revisit internet destinations. The history folder can come in handy for that usage, but it can be a hazard on a public computer if a user forgets to clear it before another user takes a turn on the computer. If you want to maintain your privacy, you should clear your browser history when you're finished searching the Web.
