2Sometimes sleep eludes you. Busy brain. Stressful day. The list goes on. But instead of tossing and turning, you can make relaxing massage oil that will help you to sleep restfully.

Almond oil or sesame oil
Bottle with cap
Get a Good Night SleepBuy only sesame or almond oil that is specifically designed to be used for massage. It has been specially refined and prepared for use on the skin. You can get it at health food stores and online.Choose 100% pure essential oils-only these offer healthful benefits. The label will state "100% pure." You can find them at health food stores and online. Don’t use synthetic oils-they do not have the same benefits.Choose which of these two formulas you prefer based on what you like to smell-most health food stores will have test bottles for you to sniff. Formula #1 uses Sandalwood, Chamomile, Bois de Rose, Marjoram, and Celery. Formula #2 uses Lavender, Mandarin, Nutmeg, Dill and Lemon essential oils.Make the Formula #1 massage oil. Measure 1 tablespoon (15ml) of Sesame or Almond oil into the bottle. Add 4 drops of Sandalwood, 3 each of Chamomile, Bois de Rose, and Marjoram, and 2 of Celery essential oils. Cap the bottle and shake well. Go to Step 6.Make the Formula #2 massage oil. Measure 1 tablespoon (15ml) of Sesame or Almond oil into the bottle. Add 4 drops each of Lavender and Mandarin, 3 of Nutmeg, and 2 each of Dill and Lemon essential oils. Cap the bottle and shake well. Go to Step 6.Massage the oil onto your shoulders, the back of your neck, along your back and on your upper chest. Breathe deeply.Try to think pleasant, relaxing thoughts as you lay there inhaling the aromas. This helps to slow the brain down. Don’t be watching TV, planning your next day’s activities, worrying about the kids, or eating just before bed. This stimulates the brain and body, and makes it much harder not only to go to sleep, but get a good night’s sleep.
For anyone with sensitive skin, dilute the essential oils even more.
Store all oils in a cool dry place. Keep the lids firmly closed to prevent evaporation, and keep away from sunlight.
Do not go sunbathing if you use a massage oil that contains citrus-based oils such as Lemon, as the skin becomes more sun-sensitive.Do not use oils if you are pregnant or trying to get pregnant without getting professional advice.
Do not drive or do any activity that requires your concentration after applying the massage oil.
If any skin irritation occurs, stop using immediately.sleep, restless sleep, unable to sleep, broken sleep, good night's rest, good night's sleep, sleep wellhttp://www.banyanbotanicals.com/departments.asp?dept=1003Almond and Sesame Oilshttp://www.100pureessentialoils.com/Pure Essential Oils
