Overview
Landlords are people you have to deal with if you are renting a home or an apartment. You may not like the one you have, but you still have to get along with him if you want to establish or continue a successful relationship. That often means remembering him for special occasions like Christmas time. Brainstorm gift ideas for the landlords you love and even those you wish you could ditch.

Step 1
Make your landlord a gift from the heart. Whatever you talent might be, share it by making something especially for her. She will be impressed with the thought behind the gift and the gift itself. You can control how much money you spend, and a homemade gift lets you easily stick to almost any budget.
-
Step 2
Send flowers or a plant. A beautiful poinsettia or Christmas cactus is perfect. If you prefer cut flowers, go for a beautiful arrangement of red carnations and white mums. Either way, the cost won't be extreme, and you will have a very happy landlord.
-
Step 3
Buy him a subscription to the Cake of the Month Club from Clubs Galore. You can expose him to some of the best gourmet cakes in the world. It won't cost you much, and it's a gift that will last all year. See the link in our Resources section for more information.
-
Step 4
Give him a landlord cartoon from Cartoon Stock. Show your sense of humor. Pick from several existing stock prints. Have it matted and framed for a cute, lighthearted Christmas gift.
-
Step 5
Purchase a tote bag from Landlord Gifts. Not only is the tote bag cute, but she can use it to carry her purchases from any retail store. This is great for the environmentally conscious. The Website will even throw in a free book to fill the bag for you. You can find the link in our Resources section.

Step 6
Make a donation to her favorite charity in her name. Be sure to send her a card that lets her know the name of charity and the donated amount.
-
Step 7
Buy him a clock, pen set or memo holder for his desk from Things Remembered. The popular mall store and Website has lots of choices in various price ranges. You can have the objects engraved with his name or a message of your choice.
-
Step 8
Put together a gift basket of Christmas linens. Include beautiful tapestry place mats, napkins and napkin rings. Add in some candleholders with holiday candles that will fit inside. Be creative in developing the basket. Include things like table jewels, flowers and other things that can add beauty to her Christmas table. You control the cost based on the items chosen.
-
Step 9
Purchase a popcorn tin of gourmet popcorn from caramel or chocolate covered to cheese and/or jalepeno. The gift is reasonable at between $5 and $15.
