When budgeting for travel, there are many hidden costs that sneak up once you're already at your destination. This is why all-inclusive resorts are a terrific way to travel on the cheap; there are no surprises and all the fun is included in one low price. Most inexpensive all-inclusive resorts are in Mexico, but there are some bargains to be found in the Caribbean and the Dominican Republic.

This Cancun, Mexico, property is in the Quintana Roo section. Boasting two pools, one of them an infinity pool, plus a swim-up bar and great beach access, this property is one of the best values in Cancun. You will get a lot of bang for your buck; all meals, domestic drinks, water and land sports, golf, entertainment, gratuities and classes are included in the very reasonable room price. Some items not included are spa treatments, airport transfers and laundry service.

Point Village Resort All-Inclusive
This all-inclusive resort, in Negril, Jamaica, is on 14 acres of Jamaica's northwest coast. It has a beachfront bar, two restaurants, boutique, salon and spa. Located where Seven Mile beach ends and Bloody Bay Beach begins, there is snorkeling among coral reefs in front of the resort. The usual items are included in the price of the room: meals, drinks, activities and entertainment--plus kids' activities such as face painting and treasure hunts. A word of caution: The Hedonism resort is next door, where nudity is the norm.
