    Born in West Germany in March of 1955, Bruce Willis came on the acting scene in 1985 when he scored the role of private eye David Addison in the hit comedy TV series "Moonlighting." He became best known for his role in the "Die Hard" movie series and has starred in a variety of films in different genres. The best way to appreciate his acting talents is to have a movie marathon in his honor.
 
  • Step 1

    Watch all 4 "Die Hard" movies: "Die Hard" (1988), "Die Hard 2" (1990),"Die Hard: With a Vengeance" (1995) and "Live Free or Die Hard" (2007). Willis portrays Officer John McClane who first battles terrorists as they hold hostages in an LA office building, then moves on to fighting mercenaries who seize control of an airport and threaten to cause plane crashes if their demands are not met. In the third installment, McClane must fend off a man who has set bombs all over New York City alongside Zeus Carver (Samuel L. Jackson); and finally McClane takes on an Internet-based terrorist organization.

    Watch the comedies "Look Who's Talking" (1989) and "Look Who's Talking Too" (1990). Willis lends his voice to baby Mikey, who has his own opinions on who his single mom Molly (Kirstie Alley) should be dating. In the sequel, Mikey must contend with another sibling (voiced by Roseanne Barr) once his mom settles down with James (John Travolta).

    Watch the 1994 drama "Pulp Fiction." Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson) are two hit men who are out to retrieve a suitcase stolen from mob boss Marsellus Wallace. Willis portrays Butch Coolidge, the aging boxer who is paid by Wallace to lose his next fight. Find out how all of these characters wind up involved in each other's lives.

    Watch the 1997 action adventure "The Fifth Element." Willis portrays Korben Dallas, an ex-soldier turned cab driver who is helping the fifth element stop Evil from extinguishing life 200+ years into the future.

    Watch the 1998 romance action-drama "Armageddon." Willis is part of the world's best deep-core drilling team who is sent to destroy the Texas-size asteroid that is headed for Earth. Co-stars include Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler and Billy Bob Thorton.
  • Step 6

    Watch the 1999 mystery thriller "The Sixth Sense." Willis is Dr. Malcolm Crowe, a child psychologist who works with a young boy who communicates with people who don't know they're dead. Haley Joel Osment, Toni Collette and Donnie Whalberg co-star.

    Watch the 2000 comedy "The Whole Nine Yards." Willis is Jimmy "The Tulip" Tudeski, a former mob hit-man who moves in next door to mild-mannered dentist Nick Ozeransky and turns Nick's world upside down. Co-stars include Matthew Perry, Amanda Peet and Michael Clarke Duncan.

    Watch the 2000 fantasy thriller "Unbreakable." David Dunn (Willis) is the sole survivor of a horrific train-crash that killed 131 people and he walked away without a scratch. Elijah Prince (Samuel L Jackson) approaches Dunn with seemingly far-fetched theories behind his unbelievable stroke of luck.

    Watch the 2005 action thriller "Sin City," where Willis stars amongst an all-star cast in that explores the dark and miserable town of Basin City and tells the story of various people caught up in the city's corruption.

    Watch the 2006 animated feature "Over the Hedge." Willis lends his voice to RJ, a scheming raccoon who fools a band of forest creatures into helping him invade a suburban neighborhood for food. Other voices include Garry Shandling, Steve Carrell, Wanda Sykes and William Shatner.
