Overview
A bride-to-be's last hurrah as a single woman shouldn't be taken lightly, and Boston can be the perfect location for the festivities. Most neighborhoods have bars, clubs and restaurants within walking distance.
-
Bar Hop
Boston's different neighborhoods thrive with entertainment. Faneuil Hall with its low-key lounges to dive bars to dance clubs might be the most popular destination. Consider wearing matching T-shirts or an accessory that identifies your group as you hop from bar to bar. A party bus also would take the group safely around the city. Plus, you have a designated driver. Some buses might include free admission to clubs. For a nice dinner before the bar hop, consider the Top of the Hub restaurant in the Prudential tower.
-
Scavenger Hunt
Hand the bride a digital camera and a walking map of Boston for a scavenger hunt. You can create a list of clues or have a list of items for her to find and document. For example, find a man with a Red Sox tattoo; persuade a Boston police officer to handcuff the bride for a picture; find five men with the groom's first name. Visit Bachelorette.com for more ideas.

Spa Day
Need to relieve the stress of a wedding? Get pampered with friends. Many spas in the Boston area feature pre-wedding packages for bachelorettes, including massages, facials and body wraps. Popular choices include the Spa at Mandarin Oriental on Boylston Street, g2o Spa & Salon in the Back Bay and Bella Sante on Newbury Street.
